ICC-Kenya- Ruto and Sang - case terminated

Trial Chamber V(A) ICC terminated the case against Ruto and Sang

The Chamber found that there is ‘no case for the accused to answer'– the prosecution did not present sufficient evidence.  

•  The decision was reached by majority- Judge Olga Herrera Carbuccia dissenting
• The decision is appealable
•  And the termination decision does not preclude new prosecution in the future – by the ICC or in a national jurisdiction
